Wednesday, or Long Time No See

Wow.

It's been too long since I wrote in this thing. Complacency has taken over or whatever. JK. Anyway, some shocking new developments have taken place.

This weekend was GLACURH. It was a blast. We motored on down to Indiana to the campus of Ball State U. What can I say about van rides except, it's a good thing you can sleep on them. We got to BSU and checked into our hotel. Dan, Tony, Todd and myself were in one room, room 154. We headed over to the Ball gym (snicker) to perform our roll call and see a speaker. Both went well.

Then we headed back to the hotel and then took a shuttle over to the student union to bowl a few games. Unfortunately, we couldn't get on a lane, so we just played pool instead. It was a fun diversion. But at 12, we had to head BACK TO the hotel, for good this time. We had a meeting and then turned in for the night. We ended up staying up until 4 am chillin' with Rae Rae and Vanessa.

We woke up the next day, exhausted, and ready to go to our programs. Todd and I stuck together. We first attended "Extending your dating playbook." It was pretty informative, I guess...and better than facepainting 101, I'm sure. And Todd fell asleep and was pelted by the presenter. Next we went to "the leadership styles of dr. seuss" which Monica and I want to put on in our hall. Todd fell asleep again. We were sneetches. Then we went to "the price is wrong" only to find out that it had been canceled and replaced with 'sex in the dark,' a program where males and females write down questions for the opposite sex, which they then answer. I learned a lot. Like there are some dumb guys out there. And presenters of this program will say anything to get the girls they're presenting to into bed. Especially the horny canadian girls.

Then we had lunch an cheered a lot. And they announced the top 10 programs. Harps had one, as well as Ryan. Then we went to a roundtable program, mine was about diversity. Then we went to one of the top 10 programs. I went to "don't smoke it, weave it," a program about hemp. I made a cool braclet. Then it was time to head out. And by head out I mean get changed for our formal banquet dinner. It was fun, tons of pictures, food and boring speakers. And one random drunk guy. "Who's drunk? This guy!"- Drunk guy.

Then we headed back to change for the dance. That was fun. I traded my socks for an IU mug and t-shirt at the swap shop. Then I cut a rug. I danced with this one girl, Brittany from Elmhurst. She was cute, but she had no rhythm. That's cool tho. Then we had to leave.

And then we came back for good. Back to good ol' CMU. Anyway, I have class in a few, so I'm gonna run...but here's what's comin' up:

-Larzy Knockers have a dodgeball game tonight...2-0 so far.
-Barnes Charity Ball on Thursday...fun...
-What to do on the weekend...sleep?

I hope this post finds you in the best of bad moods cause you woke up an hour early as well as caffeine induced shaking.
