shitty day and it's still the afternoon
waking up to an argument with my mom, i finally head out the house to get some work done. lo and behold, a parking ticket?!
i CAN'T believe i got a $100.00 parking ticket for parking in my driveway. apparently i am being a bad citizen for parking "on the sidewalk." what the fuck? i'm going to protest this. i mean seriously, a hundred bucks for parking in my own friggin driveway.
after driving through rain for almost half an hour i finally find a parking spot several blocks away from The Canvas, and i walk through rain with my tiny tiny tiny umbrella and heavy satchel and there is no room to sit! apparently there's a local artists' event going on in half of the cafe and the rest of us coffee drinkers are forced to the other side of the room. i wonder if anything else worse is going to happen today.
