Seriously?!
H'okay. So I've been having some problems, as I'm sure some of you are aware. They are getting in the way of me updating. I will list them here, to try and make this entry short, sweet, and too the point.
1. My mother just underwent a massive surgery and is still recovering on all ends; physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. I am trying to spend as much time with her as I possibly can, because I feel guilty that I can't take time off of work to be with her all the time.
2. When I do get home, I am exhausted and mentally drained. I am supposed to sorta-kinda be participating in NaNoWriMo this month, and it is already the 7th and I have 502 words written for the. entire. month. Yeah.
3. My computer sucks teh monkey balls and won't load the game at ALL anymore because it is continually running hot. I have several friends with several suggestions and several different outcomes that have happened, but basically, the fan is not cooling it, and so when I even close out of firefox I risk crashing. I have no money currently to get a new fan installed (because installing costs a gazundo amt of dollars that I do not have) and it is not 100% going to fix the problem. Therefore! I have no pictures for the next update for the McT's or SL, both of which are mostly done with the writing.
SO! This brings me to my question / poll / point of all of this.
A few of you before have mentioned that, although the pictures are enjoyable and yes, part of a sims story, you would be willing to fore-go the pics a time or two if it meant that I could update more often. Don't get me wrong, I plan to ABSOLUTELY post pictures continually, once this computer problem is resolved. (We are saving up to get me a new computer ALL TOGETHER once taxes come back, because I'm tired of having to continually rebuild and rebuild this damn ancient thing). (And seriously, all I'm doing is updating LJ, and the thing is running at 83 EFFING DEGREES CELSIUS!!! This is not right...)
Anyway. So... here is my question. How many of you would be okay with a few updates that were either extremely limited on pictures or had no pictures at all?
