Event Idea Post
The Official Mallow Mateys Event Idea/Brainstorming Post!
One of the things we love about this RP is how involved the player base is in coming up with events for the community as a whole. However, it can get a bit chaotic as well. That's why we mods want to meet people half-way with this post. To keep things less confusing and to prevent conflicting events, in the future RP-wide events will be mod-approved and run with the involvement of the mods.
Ideally we want to find a happy medium for events so they aren't happening so often players don't get a chance to just breathe and enjoy some normalcy for their characters. Think of it like Christmas; it's more special because it only comes once a year. Obviously events will be occurring more often than that, but it's the same general idea.
So! The purpose of this post is for the players to give input and ideas for upcoming events and plots. We know ideas get discussed in the chat, and that is perfectly fine, but it also means a lot of people with different schedules or who don't use AIM a lot get left out. In the future, we'd prefer to see all ideas for possible future events get posted here, where everyone can see them and chime in with their own thoughts and suggestions.
One event idea per thread, please, as we will be linking them in this post for easy reference. (To that end, if you can please title the thread to indicate the general idea presented, it'll make our lives a little easier. Your mods thank you. ♥) Once the initial idea thread is started, please feel free to reply as often as you like with suggestions for how you'd like to see it work, or thoughts on how it might be improved. The more discussion the better! Mods will be paying attention to what ideas seem most popular, interesting, and beneficial to the game, and will choose options for upcoming events based on this. Be creative!
