Cool!
I was looking at the TV Guide online when the name of this show caught my attention, Ni Hao, Kai-Lan. It just started last month and it's a children's show that also teaches Mandarin. Think Chinese Dora.
I'm watching it now and I'm rather impressed. The graphics are cute, colorful and pretty. In addition to the usual developmental aspects of these sorts of children's shows, it also teaches Chinese. There are simple phrases interspersed throughout with a focus on a few words each episode too. It's neat.
Anyway. Who knew? I guess it's just another sign of the growing interest and trend in Chinese.
