My near J.Lo experience
I was out walking around Times Square tonight when I happened upon a section of the street where both sides of the sidewalks were teeming with people. There was obviously something going on as there were some police cars, two huge spotlight thingies, and tons of photographers milling about. I was opposite the club where everyone's attention seemed to be focused, and decided to hang around with the crowd. Someone said that Jennifer Lopez was supposed to show at some point, though whether she was already in the club and we were waiting for her to leave or we were waiting for her to arrive, no one seemed to know. Every once in a while, we'd see people enter or exit the club and then there'd be tons of camera flashes going off inside.
I waited for about twenty minutes before giving up, but not before I took this, unfortunately, blurry pic (click on pic for larger image):
I just came home and confirmed that it was J.Lo: Jennifer Lopez: Three mentions (The Scoop, Gatecrasher, Liz Smith). Even though she won't be in Dallas, J.Lo will be in New York City tonight to launch the Times Square performance venue Spotlight Live (and to shill for her new album Como Ama Una Mujer), Fresh Intelligence's Gossip Index. Cool!
