My boss and another attorney were in town today and we all went out to dinner. One of the paralegals has been raving about this Italian restaurant she and her family ate at several months ago, so when we were deciding where to eat my boss recalled her recommendation. Unfortunately, neither she nor I could remember the restaurant's name! So we proceeded to stalk her until we found her to ask her for the name and the restaurant's location. Then we proceeded to bug her again when the first cab we were in couldn't find the cross street and pretty much dumped us, and she had to hop online to find the exact address for us. Ahhhh, I'm sure she was so glad we had her cell phone number. It's a sad day when you can never get away from your co-workers, isn't it? Hee.
Anyhow, we found the restaurant and it was so worth the hunt. Mwah! My tummy is so happy. To anyone who visits NYC and is looking for a place to eat, I continue the recommendation of
Piccolo Angolo. I had the monkfish in spicy tomato sauce (which wasn't all that spicy, thank goodness). The other attorney had the lobster-stuffed cannelloni which was also really good. And my boss had a penne pasta dish that was simple, but done so well. We shared cannolis for dessert (one order came with two). Mmmmm . . . I'm going to sleep so well tonight. :)
