I'm suddenly very tired and my lungs are burning. It may be because I had to BOOK IT from the Metro to my house as Mother Nature decided to all of the sudden drop ten degrees and start thundering and lightening. I look like a drowned rat and feel like one too. I do not remember rain being forecasted this morning! Bah.
All I have to say is, hope it's not thundering tomorrow night! If my flight gets delayed in any way, shape, or form I'm going to have some unhappy people waiting for me in Boston. My sister is such a grouch when tired, and I'm already getting in really late. Looking forward to seeing my sister and BIL, although now I have to figure out what I can and can't take in a carry-on.
I was originally going to check my luggage since I was going to NYC after Boston and, therefore, would have my huge suitcase with me. Plans have changed though. I'm needed on a project in DC for a couple of days next week, so they're flying me back Sunday afternoon. No need for big suitcase now, and don't have any smaller suitcases that I could check - only duffle bags I'm not going to check. I'm mostly worried about some Asian pears I have and was supposed to take to my sister. Surely fruit's okay to carry on?
They're not liquids, gels, or canned/jarred items. Okay, now that my lungs aren't on fire as much anymore maybe I'll go hunt up some dinner. (I'd like to think it was the cold and wet weather outside that's making them burn so much, and not because I'm an utter slob and haven't been to Curves in forever. Not my fault though! I keep having to work weird hours and ferry back and forth. Hmph.)
