Stunning Realization
So apparently, before I leave for the Air Force (much to the knowledge of most of the people I can't stand), I'm getting at least a nice little boost-a money before I go due to Income Tax season (ohhhhhhh) so I'm leaving the state with at least $2,000...which is enough to suffice me for a few weeks before I start my new job and since most of the stuff in the military is paid for already, I got nothing to worry about except saving it up (interest, bro).
So other than that, there's really not much going on...got a bit of a boost in workflow for the past week..instead of thirty hour weeks, I'm getting forty which, despite killing me, is going to give me a little bit more money to save up on once I escape this dirt rock and since I got everything paid for, I can save this check...all $600 of it ~dwee~ X3.
In other news, I've rekindled my love for anime and indulged/power read Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, pretty much with Jotaro Kujo's daughter, Jolyne, being in jail and all that..I think it's pretty cool and it kinda makes me wonder why hasn't the long running series (current story is called "Jojolion) gotten on TV yet, I mean, they did Stardust Crusaders and that was like the third story from the first (the first is Battle Tendencies, I think)...Either way, I'm becoming a fan of the Jojo series despite it's randomness, retroness and crazy duration (started in the eighties and continuing now...Bleach gonna do this soon, I bet ya!) I can't wait to see what he does with this next thing.
Speaking of stories, I'm trying to figure out how to have this war, conclude it and what happens after the war...Post War stories are almost similar to post-apocalyptic stuff and I don't want it to be something too high scale since it's just a few provinces that were affected. I'm trying to get this b-tch published still, but it's hard considering there's not a lot of publishers within city limits that are usually available and all these other publishers are too much of a pain in the butt with their selection...I should try self-publishing it but I kinda want my story to be on bookshelves and mass producing books on your own is hard enough as it is with people losing their attention span to comics now'days (I wish I could have made my series into a comic before I burned all those bridges)...Either way, publishing is going to be harder than I thought.
But! with all the money I save, I can maybe get a publicist or an agent or something like that...someone that can amplify me just enough to make my book a secondary source of income (albeit a small one)
Meh, in any case, in eight years, I'll have things the way I want it, gotta keep the head up until then...I just hope I get sent to a place I actually enjoy, there's wayy too many people getting dumped off in Virginia and that's kinda where I don't want to end up.
