... Max Mosely (son of famous UK fascist Oswald Mosely) is the unpaid boss of "World Motorsport" and in particular the FIA who oversee Formula One racing.

A British newspaper claimed on Sunday that Mosley took part in a "Nazi-style orgy in a torture dungeon". He has denied any Nazi connotations and apologised for any embarrassment.

You know what, I agree with you :-)

And yes, some of those rule changes have been pretty stupid (at least we've got rid of the fuel burn period now ...)

... but F1 should be the place where great technological innovation is happening and the recent cost-cutting/limiting exercises are just turning them back into big karts again ... of course they were going too far the other way a couple of years back and you could have had a monkey with a "go" button and left everything else to computer mapping, traction control, and remote tweaking from the pitwall to drive the car around on autopilot ... this year there are probably eight people who could be on the podium any race (McLarens, Ferraris, Kubica, Rosberg, Bourdais, and, well, actually any one of three or four others depending on reliability and not falling off the track or being collected by someone else falling off the track ... we might even get to see Coulthard on the 3rd rung again!)

Thinking about it, aside from Force India and Super Aguri, just about every team has a good enough car and a good enough driver to get points on any given weekend (even Honda seem to be doing better, though I'm not sure how much better!) ... though it's hard to see the champion this year being in any other car than a McLaren or Ferrari ... still, I have Rosberg and Kubica as my 2nd and 3rd drivers (along with Hamilton) in the Fantasy F1 at work (but with Red Bull and Toro Rosso engine and chassis I think I may have spread my net too wide and so won't win this year, but should definitely come in the top 25%)
