First, let me say that I'm in favour of Charles marrying Camilla.
But, well, let's look at the facts (grin!)
- Charles says to God, "Lord, send me a sign, as the soon-to-be head of your church, whether it is ok to marry" ... The Pope dies
- Charles says to God, "Lord, send me a sign, as the soon-to-be replacement for the long serving head of this country" ... Prince Rainier (longest reigning European monarch) dies.
- Charles says to God, "Lord, stop mucking about, how about some nice weather for my wedding on Friday?". The weather forecast for London for Thursday through to next week (http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?world=0008)
Thursday: High 13, Low 5
Friday: High 5, Low 0
Saturday: High 10, Low 5
Sunday: High 15, Low 8
Monday: High 19, Low 9
(and yes, they've moved the wedding to Saturday due to the Pope's funeral)
Either it is total coincidence, or God's aim is off!
