Hi peeps, this is global warming baton taken from Hachidori project. There's also a movie 'an inconvenient truth' about global warming ^^
Hummingbird
The forest was on fire.
All of the animals,
insects and birds in the forest rushed to escape.
But there was one little hummingbird named Kurikindi,
or Golden Bird,who stayed behind.
This little bird went back and forth between water and fire,
dropping a single drop of water from its beak onto the fire below.
When the animals saw this they began to laugh at Kurikindi.
"Why are you doing that?" they asked.
And Kurikindi replied,
"I am only doing what I can do"
We are now facing a significant problem with global warming.
How can we cool down our increasingly hot Earth?
Starting from the little things, try dropping your drop of water.
O = positive
X = negative
Q1:[shopping] At convenience stores, supermarkets etc, don't take the plastic shopping bags given.
X : Totally failed on this one..but on the bright side, I recycled those plastic bags as my rubbish bag...lol
Q2:[eating] Bring along your own chopsticks ((or the equivalent utensils where you live)) and cup.
X : errrr....kinda troublesome?
Q3:[transportation] Restrict(control) your use of taxis; use the train, subway etc ((or the equivalent public transport applicable to you)) as much as possible.
X : I drive =(
Q4:[lighting] Position the table to face the window and restrict(control) your use of lighting.
O : hmmm...i'm pretty good with lighting ^^
Q5:[home electronics] Set the temperature of the room's heating between 20 to 21 degrees Celsius.
Set the temperature of the air-conditioning between 27 to 28 degrees Celsius.
O: I don't use heater that often...it's mostly layered clothes and perseverance in winter and I'm outta here during summer. so...
Q6:[home electronics] Cook only as much rice as you eat; have the attitude not to use the rice cooker's 'keep warm' function.
O : I'm okay I guess...
Q7:[home electronics] Take care to turn off the main power source of electrical appliances not presently in use.
X : :x I never switch off my comp o(x_x)o
Q8:[home electronics] Cut down on the time spent watching television.
O : Don't watch tv that much...
Q9:[home electronics] When using the hair dryer, dry off the the dampness from your hair well with a towel before using.
X : I'm always rushing...hair dryer becomes a life saver >.>
