Stacie still hasn't gotten everything together to change personas yet, and while ordinarily she wouldn't mind, it gives her a lot less time to spend around the hut with Danny and Ash and more to make herself known. That's still the only way for this to work, after all.

Today, though, the rec room is empty for the time being, and she'd be lying to say that it doesn't come as a bit of a relief to be able to relax. If she's going to be in public, she can at least keep herself entertained without having to make something of a show of things. She crosses to the shelf habitually, pulls out the first film reel she finds, and sets it up to play before taking a seat to watch it.

The movie, as it turns out, is actually decent, which comes as something of a surprise. Not something she would've chosen to watch back home, per se, but good all the same, if somewhat bloody. She can't quite place it, but something about the theme is appealing in and of itself; she'll blame Ash and his double-tailed coin for that. Come the end, it's unsettling to watch the protagonist die, but she's far enough removed from what they'd done back home, taking money from dishonest men, that she can shrug it off without a second thought. It's a movie, after all.

There's still no one around when the movie ends. Far more relaxed than she'd been when she came in, she puts the reel back in its can and on the shelf before heading for the doorway. She figures she's been out long enough that she can just start heading home.
