There may be a way to continue conning on the island, lack of actual marks aside, but that doesn't mean there's much to actually do. Lurking around the Compound too much would only bring about suspicion, which they can't afford this early in the game; going the beach, nice as it is, involves a long walk, which gets tiring after a while; and the hot tub's disappeared with the snow a few days before.
