New theme, again
So I have this beautiful new Avatar theme, courtesy of nagashiwa !!! I am absolutely in love with Avatar. Probably more than is healthy. I saw it twice in the first 36 hours it was out. :P In my defense, it was with a friend, and then I took my little brother..... And then we went and saw it again with my mom. But yes. I pretty much loved everything about it, even if it was just an over-prettied Ferngully. That was my favorite movie as a kid, so it fits that Avatar is my favorite movie as an adult. I'm also trying to get a mood theme from earendil_elven set up, but apparently, I'm too incompetent for that. Does anyone know how to do it? I've downloaded the file, but I don't know how to get it uploaded.
In actual news, I turned in my registration forms for the ASM Biodefense conference today! And I got my hotel booked and my flight. The room for one night costs more than round-trip airfare. Oh well, my grant is paying for it, so go big or go home, right? The conference is from Feb 21-24th, but my boss and I are coming back the evening of the 23rd. I'm so excited! This will be my first big conference, with lots of important people there. Hopefully I'll learn a ton and get to meet some potential networking connections. Score.
