My wallow through the depths of depression has subsided, I have returned to the ranks of the employed. I am so happy about your new job! Especially since you still get to go to Dragon Con!
Although, he is successful and can be, at times, entertaining or REALLY LOUD and scary, Gordon Ramsey doesn't have your style. He doesn't have the Hukilau, the Tiki groove, or the Rat pack charisma that you do! So there - Gordon Ramsey!

As to getting caught unawares.....Man plans, God laughs....OR as Mary Kathryn likes to say....Dad plans, Mom laughs.......

Not cut out to be a gentleman of leisure, hmmmm? Congratulations on the new gig. I hope you don't have too much of a commute. You getting canned after moving to be closer to the job was something ripped from the pages of O. Henry.

Wow. OK, now I'm going to picture you wearing those gloves with the cut off fingers when you work. I hope the office is closed on Christmas Day.

I am very happy for you, my friend. As much as I would prefer to be independently wealthy, being gainfully employed is great. This job even sounds exciting for you. That is also very good. Eight minutes from the old house though, wow. Of course, as I have come to fully understand, life has many twists and turns, many of which are completely unexpected. Good on y’a, mate.
