13 ways to get baby Serafina to go to sleep.
Mun Note: This list is AU and RP-based.
1. Check her diaper.
2. Make sure she’s not hungry.
3. Make sure she’s not too cold or hot.
4. Pick her up and speak soothingly to her.
5. Carry her around for a little while.
6. Sit in a cosy chair and cuddle her for a bit.
7. Try singing to her.
8. Try reading to her - of course she can’t understand yet, but the tone of voice helps to calm her.
9. See if she wants her momma, her other daddy or her big brother to be with her.
10. Make sure the cat hasn’t been sleeping in her crib - the cat hair could be making her itchy!
11. Check her room to make sure there’s no scary shadows in sight, or bright lights shining through the curtains, that could be keeping her awake.
12. Give her new pillows and blankets if necessary.
13. Let her stay up for a bit and do a few things while keeping an eye on her - she’ll very likely start drifting off on her own!
