Today was such a great day. Until 5th period. I'm fucking sick of people right now. Let me explain:
Robin and Brooke and Clay and I were just chatting it up. The topic of Broke Back Mountain came up, and I got pissed. Because, that looks like a retarded movie. And, really, I think that cowboys can't be gay. Naturally, everyone got all in a tissy, because it's totally fine to express yourself until someone got hurt. Now, if you will, bear with me. The reason i'm so pissed off about BBM, is simply the fact that it very well be just another media hype film. Granted, I've only seen clips, so maybe it
was a bad fulcrum for my point, but I digress. Example: Look at black people. Back in the day, they could not vote, ride busses, any number of things, and they fought for it. Well, congrats black people, now you are all over the TV! People are scared of you now! Looks like you are teaching whitey a lesson! You are an accepted part of our society! Now instead of people viewing you as low life dogs, you are portrayed as the badass scum of the earth. Rapping about bitches, capping each other, and many other things! Geez, you guys sure are thought highly of. You've come a long way from picking cotton. Anyone catching on yet? Now, with gay people. Besides the whole marriage thing, you guys are fine. You've got basic rights, etc. But no, you want to be a represented part of society, you want more! So, what do you do? Whore yourselves out to the wolrd of course! And back the the TV thing. Have you guys watched that shit? You realize that most of the exposure kids have to "gay culture" these days in on TV, right? No wonder so many people hate fags. They are depicted as insanely stupid sex whore kids. I'm sure all of them are like that, huh? WOW. And the worst part is that 10 year olds now all think that they are gay. "Oh...I love my hair so much, and I have this really cute shirt. Oh man, and Billy in math class is really cute. Well...nothing for it now, I must be gay!" No, you like your hair to look good. The point i'm trying to make is this: By supporting all this crap, we are not helping anyone. No one is being accepted, nothing is being resolved. Watch any gay sit com, or any show with gay people on it, and you can't help but notice that it's so painfully gay. Like, you could not watch it and just be like, "Oh, these people are in a relationship." You'd see it and think, "Oh, these people are GAY." And yes, they are. But so what? I'm just saying that we make it seem so important that they are different from us. And by doing that, we are just excluding them more. Same with any culture. White people and straight people do it to themselves too. But, just because they are "out there", does not mean that it's doing any good for anyone. Hey look, a gay porn...man, i'm really glad that's being accepted by the world now. Must be a good thing. You think of latin sit coms, what do you think of? Retarded shit that you can laugh at.
