She'd been asleep when it happened, which was fairly normal for her when these strange curses affected everyone, but Ammy was taking it with her usual grace. Which meant that she really couldn't seem to care less. Her robes had been changed to a pair of hakama and a cloak, and the sun god that strolled down the hall with a sleepy expression was ( Read more... )

He should have expected something like this to occur; how long had it been since he found himself waking in the too-comfortable beds and this hotel? The smells were the same, albeit just a little stronger than normal, but Itegami just wasn't as surprised as he probably should have been over finding himself in the hotel once again.

What did seem to get some expression of emotion out of him was the fact that he had become a she.

Again.

"A bad dream," she murmured, hugging the too-big coat closer to her body, "this is all that it -- ah?" A voice a few feet ahead caught Ite's attention, caused her to look up and catch a glimpse of a somewhat familiar form. Taller, slightly bigger, and with what sounded like a deeper voice but there was no way to deny that overwhelming sense of peace and contentment.

"Mother?"

"Ite?" Ammy looked back at the bovine god and whuffed in surprise, ears flicking forward. "Again?" At least Ite looked rather pretty as a girl, but those breasts were distracting. Even with the coat. Tossing his head, he tried to shake his messy hair out of his eyes.

"If we are going to keep finding each other, I suppose it is not so bad. Maybe we should find a better place to find each other, though." At least there was a hint of amusement in the god's voice when he said it.

So the coat was doing no good in actually hiding the new (and rather large) addition to the god's once-male body. Add the fact that this seemed to be the only place that she ran into mother - er, father? - and it was enough to cause a frown to cross Ite's face.

"Mm. You're right." At least the sound of amusement was able to lighten the mood a bit. She tried to smile a bit. Just a small one that tugged up the corners of the lips.

Was Itegami being just a little more quiet than usual? It's more likely than you think.

Smiling, he reached over to tousle his child's hair, scratching gently behind one of her ears. "Maybe we'll find Moegami, eh?"

His tail started wagging at the thought. It would be nice to see all of his children again. Ammy found herself missing them so often these days.

"Ah..."

Ite wasn't used to such affection, maybe because of just how reclusive of a person she tended to be. Who knew. But where it was concerned she did not quite mind it as much as would have been thought. Probably because it was Amaterasu and no other person. Plus those ear-scritchings were proving to be an auto-calmer.

"Maybe," she said with a nod and reached up to remove her mother-father's hand from her head. But she hesitated on releasing it. It had been a long time since she had last seen him; had last seen the rest of the family. "It would be nice to see him again." This place was well-suited for someone of that bird's caliber, anyway. It wouldn't be too much of a surprise to run into him again.

"Maybe. We'll keep an eye out for him." He squeezed Ite's hand, then pulled the other god into a hug. It was so very good to see him. Her. However Ammy was supposed to call Ite now, it didn't matter. Tail wagging furiously, he snuggled his child, rubbing his cheek against her snowy hair.

Good job, Ammy-papa, you just cut your daughter-son-something-or-other off before she could even get a response in edgewise to that. But that's okay. Because at the moment Itegami doesn't really seem to care much about that because there is hugs and snuggles being given.

And who does not enjoy a hug by their own parent?

Of course the cheek rubbing was a little embarrassing and this hug was just a little tighter and stronger than what was usual but at least it wasn't too squishy or bone-breaking to say the least. And Ite gave another light nod as she buried her face into her scarf and then against her mother-father's shoulder; her arms raising slightly, hesitantly, with fingers twitching, before they wrap around the taller and male Amaterasu's torso in some slight attempt to return the hug.

Who doesn't indeed. At least Ammy has the good sense not to go around licking people in this form. Abel had already impressed upon the goddess that it was weird and awkward and Not Something She Should Be Doing. Usually. Unless there was bleeding involved. But that was beside the point.

The return hug made Ammy grumble in a pleased sort of way deep in his chest. This was nice, and the sun god missed the little things like this. Being closer to the younger brush gods made him feel much more at ease.
