Ion was in the kitchen, which smelled of freshly baked goods even though it was still fairly early in the morning. The replica had been working on something special for the few people precious to him that he knew were still in the hotel. Among those was a gingerbread house, which was what he was currently working on

Amaimon followed the scent of both his pet and that delicious food. It seemed as if both were coming from the same location. He didn't take too long to reach it's source and walked inside the kitchen. He sniffed as he walked in, his eyes trailing over all that delicious food and then to his delicious familiar.

"Hello pet."

"Good morning Amaimon," Ion replied, smiling despite the fact that his surprise wasn't yet finished. Still, he continued on with the gingerbread house cheerful. "How are you this morning?"

"I am good, Ion. What are you making?" Amaimon tilted his head as he looked at the house the boy was working on. He had no idea just what this thing was but it smelled delicious.

"It's a house made of gingerbread and other sweets," Ion said. "I'm making it for you for Christmas."

[hamster_lord]

"Christmas? Oh. Then I'm not supposed to see it." He suddenly covered his eyes and looked away.

Ion laughed and started to put icing on the roof. "It's okay, you've already seen it. It's just not finished yet."

"No I didn't. I won't see it till it's finished." Deny deny deny.

"I thought you might like to help, since you're here."

[hamster_lord]

Amaimon peeked out from behind his fingers. "Am I allowed to do that?"

"I don't see why it wouldn't be. You can even lick the frosting bowl when we finish."

Ion knows it must be tempting with all the sweets lying there.

That made him smile like a kid in a candy store. Well him in a candy store.

"I wanna! Please can I pet? I'll share!"

"You don't have to share, it's your present." Ion couldn't help smiling. His master was so easy to please sometimes it was cute.

"But I want to share with my pet. What is mine is yours and what is yours is mine. We will share!

"We can share then," Ion agreed. Amaimon already probably knew he would eat much of it though since his appetite wasn't very big.

"Good. How can I help then?"

"All that's left to do is decorate it." Ion already had an assortment of candy out to do so too. Candy canes, licorice, gumdrops, you name it...and, of course, frosting.
