III. Meeting with the Boss (Aphro'd)
Dashing from her office as quickly as she could, the latest victim of Karen Lilica, the "Demon Boss of Floor Five", was in tears. After working for the company for no longer then two months, she had been let go. She had pleaded to be given a second chance, but the words of her boss simple were loud and clear: "Either leave by choice or by force".
Fortunately, the woman had chosen the easier method and Karen watched her silently from behind the glass door of her office. It would be the second worker fired from the company this month, but she didn't have time to waste on people who couldn't pull their weight or perform as she expected them to.
With a sigh, she moved back to her desk, leaning over to press a button on her intercom.
"I need to see you in my office, now." She replied the moment she heard him answer. After going through 7 personal assistants in the previous year, Karen's latest hire had proved far more useful to her in several ways.
