Shanoa didn't know where she was. Well, she had an inkling, but with her recent record of dimension-hopping she could very well have been wrong. She did realize two important things, though - one, it was cold out, two, there was a house nearby.
Doing the logical thing, Shanoa trudged to the door of the small cottage, mentally bemoaning the shortcomings of her preferred style of dress as she knocked loudly.
Konoka froze. Who was it that managed to find this place? Was it Koakuma again, coming to harass her? Her minions, swearing eternal vengeance and likely (but unfairly) carrying those girls' heads on pikes? The demoness actually scuttled to the door nervously, fearing for her sanity, but nevertheless going to the door dutifully. Regardless of who it was, being in the cold wouldn't be favorable.
So when she opened the door, she was surprised to see... "Shanoa!" And she quickly pulled her inside and shut the door, if only she could plaster the woman in a powerful hug, nuzzling in an attempt to disguise the tears that poured out. "Oh Shanoa! I've missed you so much!"

Shanoa may have still be reacquainting herself with emotions somewhat, but she was not completely ignorant of them. Tears were a difficult thing to hide, especially from the normally bubbly Konoka.
"I've missed you too, Konoka," Shanoa said quietly, starting to stroke the overlord's hair. "What happened to you?"

Konoka only stopped nuzzling after a while of doing so--Shanoa, despite her chill, felt so very alive--maybe she wouldn't have to suffer alone after all. "It was terrible... I don't wanna go outside for a while."
She gazed sullenly at Shanoa. "Please stay. I don't wanna be alone, or go outside."
