Weddings! What a joyous occasion indeed! Ceremonious gatherings where two people who are head over heels in love with one another finally take that long term commitment, say those vows, and utter sweet nothings to one another up at the alter. To most people weddings were wonderful celebrations. But to others not so much.
This one in particular made you sick to your stomach.
Many people called it the wedding of the year. One to remember indeed. No one knew how the bride and groom got so close so quickly. That poor groom was practically doting over in every way possible. Was he your best friend? Your younger or older brother? Perhaps he was your secret lover or maybe even the one who got away. Whatever you knew him as, there was no denying that you were going to miss him now that he was being taken away from you by a breathtaking young woman.
Something in your heart told you that you knew better. That you knew the truth about her because that so called young woman wasn't all she was cracked up to be. You felt that she was only going to use your cherished person for all he was worth and/or hurt him. Which is why you were determined to sway him away from making that commitment no matter what. Whether it be a good talking to or by seduction, you had to make him realize that she wasn't a good fit or perhaps you wanted to have him for yourself?
The wedding was set to start at three pm and it was only twelve which meant you had time to voice your feelings and concerns and carry out the plans you had in mind. The question was, would you or wouldn't you have the courage to do it? You knew where the groom's room was but oh the nerves were starting to get to you. Or were they?
