As she made her way down the long stretching corridor, Amelia glanced out of one of the windows she passed, glad to be inside and warm in the wake of the fresh snow currently falling outside. Still, it was good weather for those who had travelled to the lodge in order to enjoy the winter activities, taking to the slopes and having a good time. Of course, due to her position, she knew all to well it wasn't all fun and games.
Considering the jobs she had endured in the past, this one was probably the most tolerable. After all, it did suit her talents, namely in healing magic. The resort had requested extra people with medical knowledge to help in the busy season in wake of an increase in guests, and of course, in accidents. Naturally, being able to use her powers meant getting the job was easy, allowing the princess to fulfil her wish to help people, and make good use of her abilities doing so. It was good to know she was easing people's pain, and unlike her previous jobs, all of which she had stumbled into, this area was one she felt more confident in being able to handle, and overall less embarrassed about.Granted, she still thought the uniform to be a bit impratical, but considering she was to do the indoor checks today, it wasn't much of an issue.
Stopping in front of a door at the end of the hall, she checked the room number before taking out a card key and notepad. Once she was sure she had the right place, she knocked at the door, meanwhile checking the details of her last patient for the day. Apparently the occupant had pulled a muscle earlier in the day, and needed some treatment before he could go home.
"Hello, did someone call for a medical visit?" she asked, her voice no doubt muffled slightly by the door, deciding it best to wait for permission to come in before entering.
