Nero still couldn't get over how realistic this 'game' was. She hadn't exactly played many video games in the past (you couldn't find that kind of thing in Fortuna!) but she couldn't imagine anything being more real and detailed then it already was. The smells, the detail of each object and environment, the subtle feel of wind on your face, the squelch and crunch of slain monster guts and bones beneath your feet. That last part was somewhat of a recent and very satisfying discovery. Upon first logging on here as soon as Nero had discovered you could go out killing monsters she was aaaall ready for it. One of the things she really missed from her homeworld was going out and just WRECKING a bunch of invading demons. Sometimes the devil part of her nature just ached for a good fight and the only thing that could satisfy it was to just get out and get her claws bloody. This game provided JUST the outlet for that need.
She'd paired up with another adventurer to tackle the first dungeon (apparently you could only enter them in pairs or she would have soloed it). To make things more interesting they had agreed to have a little contest. They would clear out every single monster in the place, and at the end compare scores (the game was handy enough to keep track of such things). Whoever had the most points at the end would be the winner, and the loser would have to do whatever the winner wanted. Simple enough.
They had blazed through the dungeon, goblin heads flew and orcs were gutted and the boss dragon in the final chamber was slain. Killing things like these excited Nero's devil side, and especially in the hotel she'd found blood lust could lead to another sort of lust and by the time they reached the treasure chamber her face was flushed and her body just tingled with excitement.
But first scores had to be compared.
"I got 12,329 points," the snowy haired girl declared with a slight smirk after she pulled up her menu. She wondered if her partner could even come close to that score, "What about you?"
[ooc: so this should be obvious. You were playing a game and killing monsters with Nero. You can choose whether you want to be the winner of the competition or not (and whether or not the treasure chests should be immediately raided for undoubtedly interesting prizes mythril vibrator that gives +3 resistance to dark for thirty minutes after each use?).
