Back Home with a Twist / No-to-mild Aphro!
The throne was easily twenty feet tall, and the goddess sitting in it was of a similar stature. She looked to her side, out the great windows overlooking her beloved city, and smiled.
The sky was blue. The sun was bright. The sounds of life in the streets reached her ears.
There was something wrong, however. She knew. She remembered.
Her dear friends from the Hotel. She could still remember every moment with them, good or bad, and she knew what that meant.
Still there.
Smiling, she shrugged. Well, that was fine for now! She could show her friends around, so long as this little setting lasted, just like she wanted! She'd play along like usual - it would be fun.
"My lady, it's time to grant audience to visitors," came the whisper from an Okuninushi, his face serene.
Ah, so it was like that, hmm? Alright, then! Nodding, she settled into her regal posture, her face carrying the dignity due her station.
"Very well. Send them in."
