On the outskirts of some nondescript lake you'll find Axel with his back pressed against a nearby tree trunk and his arms crossed over his chest--It's a typical scene, one he's played over and over to himself, and yet within his silhouette there's something different that someone might not be able to explain straight away.
His body feels warm and aware as always, but tonight it feels...enhanced. Every sight, every touch, smell, and even taste strikes him in his very core, deeper than his Nobody senses ever could. It's disturbing in a way, but for the most part--For the most part it's intriguing.
The chill of winter brushes past his skin and over the moonlit lake he watches over as he contemplates his next move--where to go, how to go about ridding of or testing his newfound senses--but just when the bitter wind seems to escalate suddenly he feels someone nearby and all his nerves ignite like raw, burning sparks across his skin.
Eyes once green and venomous have taken on a sharper and more violent hue as they widen and he turns his head in the direction of the one approaching. ...Then, for the first time this night, he finds some humor in this experience and smirks, exposing one delicately sharpened canine between his curved lips.
"Hm. What've we got here?"
