Ishida was in something similar to what he might have normally worn, but slightly different-- a button-up shirt, but without a tie. A more flattering cut, the top few buttons undone, leaving him looking a little more disheveled in comparison with the neat appearance he normally cultivated. Slightly tighter trousers than normal, boxer briefs. He was playing the everyman, the amateur-- the audience surrogate. While what he wore needed to be flattering, but believable. He was a little self-conscious, and they took a little getting used to, but he became comfortable enough with them soon enough-- besides, they wouldn't be staying on the whole time anyway, he expected.

His nervousness, while part of the script, was hardly feigned, nor was the smile he gave to Lucy in return. At least those were genuine, rather than forced. While normally he might have resisted the impulse to glance at Lucy's ample cleavage and instead played the gentleman, for once he let his eyes dip for a moment, that same thought running through his mind as might in the audience's, fantasizing about what she might be wearing beneath the robe-- or what she might not be wearing beneath the robe. He waited a beat, knowing the cameras were doing the same, before his eyes moved back up to meet hers and he answered her.

"Hello, Lucy-- I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"

Lucy had to fight to keep down a grin as she noticed Ishida staring at her, knowing exactly what her costar was wondering. Normally the blonde walked the fine line between finding such attention either flattering or unsettling, but with Ishida she knew the young man was only allowing himself the look because of the film. In reality she had to work hard to break through that polite armor of his and get him to relax, and she knew well what a sweetheart the costumer was. If anyone deserved a peek it was him, and she was happy to cross her arms under her breasts and arch her back just so to give him the best angle without looking like she was trying to.

"Oh, no. I just finished my homework and I was going over the script for tomorrow. What's up?"

Before he realized it, Ishida's hand was rising to adjust his glasses, unnecessarily, as he often did when nervous. As soon as he realized it, though, he altered the course as smoothly as he could, instead rubbing the back of his neck. It had been embarrassing enough to ask the first time; at least this time, he knew her answer would be yes. That almost could have offset the presence of the cameras... But not quite.

"I'd like to ask a favor, actually." Enunciate, he reminded himself. Mumbling or rambling in a real conversation was one thing, but every word needed to be clear so they could be recorded. "There's something I need help with, and you're the one I feel most comfortable asking." He glance around the dorm hallway pointedly, and one of the male actors walking by, having heard what was going on, shot him a wink. He wondered if that had been the director's idea. "If it isn't too much of an imposition, could we speak inside? This is something I'd prefer to ask in private."

Hiding a approving grin when Ishida managed to cover his nervous tick, they'd been working on that one for a while, Lucy just tilted her head to the side with a curious expression.

"A favor? Of course, you know you can ask me anything." Just like she'd said last night, though with a bit more cluelessness for emphasis. "I'm happy to help." Making a show of catching the way he glanced down the hallway, Lucy blinked in surprise at his request, before shrugging it away goodnaturedly. "Come on Ishida, you know that isn't a problem. You're always welcome, come on in," she assured him, stepping aside to let him enter the relatively spacious dorm.

Ishida's grateful smile wasn't hard to feign as he accepted the invitation; the feeling pf gratitude yesterday when she'd done the same was fresh in his memory. "Thank you. I really appreciate it." Closing the door behind him, Ishida thought the camera crew on the other side of the door was done, unaware of the special guest the director had lined up for later. More aware of his nervous habit this time, he kept his hands firmly at his sides. He wondered if he was blushing too much, being too shy-- it felt as if his ears were red to the very tips.

"I'm still a little nervous about tomorrow. The scenes, I mean. I'm still not used to this, so I guess... I guess I'm a little worried about whether I can measure up," he admitted. It was hardly the easiest thing in the world to say, even when it had just been Lucy he had been talking to. It was even harder with the camera crew, and knowing this would be filmed and watched. Still, he hadn't had the heart to tell Lucy that when she had made the suggestion-- and the truth was, it was a good idea for the studio. He just had to put aside his personal feelings. It was what was best for everyone. "I suppose what I'm saying is... I think practice or training or something like that might help, but... It's obviously not something I could do alone. If you don't feel comfortable, or if you had other plans for today, though, I understand."

That was the unfortunate flip side of Ishida's chivalrous nature, the fact that no matter how many films he was in, he still had a hard time believing he wasn't doing something wrong. Still, that was why scenes like this one were good for him, letting him not have to worry so much about ruining the shot with his nerves, and getting him used to the idea of having sex on camera. For her friend, Lucy could be patient.

"Ishida," she finally said, cutting him off, her voice the same amused rebuke she used on him yesterday. "First, stop selling yourself short. You've been doing great in your last few roles, otherwise there's no way they'd ask you to keep doing them, especially not when you already do so much work behind the camera. Second," she stepped forward and put her hand gently on his chest, smiling up with a simple friendliness. "If I'm uncomfortable rehearsing with you in private, how would I be able to go and do everything on camera tomorrow. Of course I'll help you dummy."

The name was an endearment, and she leaned up to kiss his cheek.

As technical and clever as Ishida was, he had a habit of overthinking things. Not such a bad habit in regards to his studies, or even his costuming work, but he really did need to learn to live more in the moment when it came to being filmed.

Even if he was nervous, objectively, Ishida understood why Lucy had suggested it-- and why it was a good idea, not just for the company, but for him. After all, this way, not only did the practice help him with endurance and technique, but, at the very least, he'd probably be a bit more comfortable and a little less nervous tomorrow, after having gotten his jitters out now. But that was still no excuse not to do his best now, he reminded himself. They were still being filmed, after all.

It helped ease his nerves, too, hearing Lucy's words (again), and feeling her hand against his chest, and he focused on that, letting that anchor him in the moment, rather than letting his mind race ahead of him as he tended to do. He'd do his best today, so tomorrow, she wouldn't have to repeat those words a third time and get tired of saying them, he promised himself.

He felt warmth blossom from his cheek where her lips brushed against it, but rather than the fight down the blush as he might have normally, he just accepted it-- if he did his role well, they'd both be plenty flushed by the end of this anyway.

"... Thank you, Lucy. I really do appreciate it."

If they weren't, then she wasn't doing her job. Right now, though, she was more concerned about helping him as a friend. Acting as if there were no cameras on them, she then stepped back and turned to walk into her living room.

"Make yourself comfortable," she said, glancing over her shoulder and gesturing to the couch. "Do you want me to get the script?"

"If that's what you feel will help most." As he took a seat, Ishida took a moment to watch the cameramen following Lucy. He had to admit, there was a part of him that was analyzing the situation to calm his nerves, but he also found it all genuinely interesting. They didn't bother filming him sitting down on the couch, because they didn't need to catch all the little details, he knew. Even in the special features, there was a sense of what the audience would pay attention to and what they wouldn't. A good shot of Lucy's backside, even in the robe, would build anticipation for the audience, especially if she left the room-- would she come back with the robe still on, or something else? Even Ishida himself didn't know; this was as far as the 'scripting' of the feature went. From here, it was all improvised-- at least, so far as he knew. He smiled a little to himself, though, taking a calming breath. He had meant what he said. Lucy was, of everyone, the one he was most comfortable with. He could let himself relax a little. He knew he was in good hands.

"Well, the best way to get better at something is to practice." Lucy's words came from the next room over, where she had just entered, the camera men waiting outside for the big reveal. She'd felt the lenses on her backside as she'd left, and been tempted to put a little wiggle into her walk, before deciding that would break the illusion.

When she returned, it was with two scripts in hand, and a man's buttoned up shirt that strained slightly against her generous chest, and didn't fall quite far enough to hide the racy little thong she'd slipped on. Falling onto the couch next to Ishida with a little bounce, she held out one of the scripts to him with a smile.

"So, where should we start?"

Ishida nodded in answer, eyes fixed on her as she came out. It looked good on Lucy, and, more than that, it looked natural, giving her a girl-next-door-ish air. A moment later, he realized that while she could see his answer, the cameras were trained on her, not him. He needed to speak, to answer, as she made her way over. "Ah-- You make a good point." It was all very well and good to appreciate Lucy's attractiveness; the curves of her body, her smooth bare legs, but he needed to remember to do his best here, too. He couldn't let himself be too distracted.

"Thank you," he murmured as he accepted the script, smiling gratefully, taking a moment to flip through it as he turned over her question in his mind. What would be best to practice...?

"Our scenes, probably, or one of them, at least. Unless you think it would be better for us to practice someone else's?"
