When Hawke awoke in chains, he was quite expecting that the templars had finally caught up with him. By the Maker... I knew I shouldn't have taken that dare from Varric... That is the last time I drink any wine from the Deep Roads and I don't care how good the year was. His head was pounding with some drugged sensation, though he hadn't yet realized exactly what that feeling was.
Though if this was some kind of templar hold it was... unusual. He had been stripped of most of his clothes, all except for a pair of trousers, and he was chained on his knees to the wall of what appeared to be a luxurious bedroom. It had to be a noble... who else would be rich enough to have a custom dungeon apparatus affixed into the wall, anyway?
Clenching his eyes shut to fight off the dizzy feeling that swept through him, he tried in vain to remember the events that brought him here. No such luck. Nor did he have any luck trying to fight the chains loose, not even enough to stand up on his feet. Even his magic wasn't working. What had they done to him? Perhaps the chains were enchanted somehow.
He sighed irritably, listening for some sign of another person or any indication where he was and who had captured him. It wasn't until he heard a door opening in a long hallway across the room that he bothered to say anything. He couldn't see who it was just yet, aside from a shadow across the floor heading in his direction.
"You know, if you wanted to invite me to your wild party, you could have just asked."
((It's mage!man!Hawke from Dragon Age 2! This can either be set in the hotel somewhere or in some type of AU, I'm easy. Is your character here to rescue him, or do they have something more nefarious in mind for the apostate mage? Or perhaps they'll just be surprised to find him there? I'm very flexible with regards to kinks and scenarios, so let me know if there's anything you want to play out.
