It's been almost two months now since Shepard first arrived in the hotel, and she's feeling more than a little restless. She's a military woman, used to fighting and discipline and living each day like it might be her last one. Day-to-day existence in the hotel is nothing like that, and the sense of idleness when she should be doing something is getting to her. Sure, it's nice that all the food and drink here is both free and in abundant supply, and the sex is good - to an extent. When it comes to intimacy, Shepard prefers people she knows and trusts. The drugs, the closeness with total strangers - it feels off, to her. Not that there's anything she can really do about it (and the powerlessness is frustrating, too).
She needs some way to shake off the restlessness, and so when she finds out the hotel has a gym, that's the first place she goes. Whatever Cerberus engineer designed the new Normandy made a serious oversight - there are no athletic facilities on board - and so it's been a while since she's seen the inside of a gym. Shepard pulls her hair back into a ponytail, then straps on a pair of fighting gloves because she's not dumb enough to beat up a punching bag bare-handed.
She works through a routine she used to do back when she was in the Alliance Naval Academy, and when she pauses for a break she's already sweating and just a little breathless with the adrenaline rush. It'd be nice if she had another person to spar with, but she's not counting on it.

A note on her capabilities: she's a highly trained Marine, she also has several physical enhancements that push her abilities to quasi-superhuman levels, and to paraphrase one of her castmates, she got killed and all it did was piss her off. Since this isn't real fighting, though, she'll be holding back. On the smutty side, I am a little fond of sparring as foreplay, if you'd like to go that route. Otherwise I am super flexible. Aphro is presumed for any sex, unless she knows you (previous encounters in the hotel count).
