That's all the note she found slipped under her door had on it--along with the time to meet. When she looked out into the hall, she didn't see anyone, or hear anyone moving away. She closed the door and leaned against it, debating what she should do. She didn't think someone who would want to do her harm would invite her somewhere, but the first--and last time--she was on the roof, she had been knocked off by someone with wings.
Finally, her curiosity (and her instincts) got the better of her, and she dressed as requested and made her way to the roof. Opening the door, she froze at the sight before her. The night sky was full of stars, but that wasn't what took her breath away. In front of her was a table set for two, candles burning gently upon the surface, and the unmistakable odors of a prepared meal wafted over to her.
But the thing that surprised her the most was something that looked suspiciously like a birthday cake with her name on it.
Blushing, she stepped on to the roof, and called out, "Hello?"

Whether told by the hotel, or knowing how long she's been here, someone decided to surprise her with a birthday dinner.
