This isn't Shepard's first experience with zombies, though the kind she's used to are... a little different. Still, living beings transformed into mindless undead creatures who exist only to spread violence and chaos? Yeah, she's dealt with plenty of those.
She's dressed only in the tank top and shorts she was wearing when she showed up at the resort, and perhaps that's why she feels especially naked without her armor. Shepard picked a pistol and a couple spare cartridges off a dead security guard not long after the chaos broke out, and she's since discovered that killing these things and killing husks works more or less the same way: Shoot 'em in the head.
And she's also found they can't climb things incredibly well, so she's found herself an area of high ground behind the cover of a stack of crates, where she can pick them off one by one as they try to get in close. Still, she's a little exposed to the side, and she doesn't like having to constantly check to make sure they haven't gotten less stupid and tried to flank her. Once in a while they try to form up in groups, but that only makes it easier for her to knock out whole swaths of them with her biotics.
Still, even Shepard can't keep this up forever, and she's starting to run out of bullets. She shifts a little in place, thinking over the pros and cons of moving out of cover so she can try to find something a little better to defend herself with - not that it's likely, in a place like this. She can't go at these things hand-to-hand, not unarmored; that's practically suicide. Shepard's seen what happens when they get their teeth into someone.
In the next moment she catches a blur from the corner of her eye and spins fast, bringing up her pistol, finger automatically on the trigger and ready to pull it in a split second.
[ OOC: Are you gonna come help Shepard kick zombie ass? Be an innocent in distress she can protect? Maybe you've managed to escape unscathed so far, or maybe you're already infected with the disease and trying to hide it.
This post is mostly for CR purposes, although smut isn't an impossibility if you'd like to go that route (maybe an adrenaline-fueled quickie if they find a safe place and a few spare minutes?). CR leading up to smut is also awesome.
Castmates and previous CR would be fantastic, but anyone's welcome, and characters should be 18 or older if you're thinking of leading up to smut. The zombie-fighting itself may get a little gory and gross. Shepard is going to do her level best to make sure your character stays alive, because No One Gets Left Behind and that's just what she does.
