No Aphro/Celebration!

It had been a long time coming, but it finally happened. Everywhere in the love hotel you would find signs of "Bless the Happy Mother" even in the event areas. It seems the hotel has had a birth, of not only twins, but quadruplets, an unexpected turn of events. Fate had been released from the hospital and recovered due to the way the hotel operated

It certainly had been a long time coming. And as soon as the news reached a particular resident Nobody in the hotel, the sound of his shoes running at full-tilt over the carpet. Frankly, he was anxious. He'd never been named a god father or anything like that at all and the whole notion still had him inwardly flailing by no small amount.

Finally he reached the door he'd been looking for. Still very nervous, he tries to compose himself to some degree of calm; straightening his usual short-sleeved jacket and reminding himself that breathing is something he needed to do to keep living.

Finally with his internal spaz mostly under control, he casually raps on the door.

"Come on in, the door is open," called out Fate, hoping that it was one of her friends or better yet, one of her important people. She looked up and smiled as she adjusted baby Alicia on breast, little Aki sleeping as the other two tiny blondes slumbered quietly.

With a soft click, Roxas pushes the door open and glances around, almost immediately panning his gaze to rest on Fate and two of her infants. Still unable to entirely shake his nervousness, his expression is a mix of anxiousness and simple congratulatory joy. Doing his best to keep from making too much noise, he walks over to the new mother before speaking up, "Congratulations."

"Roxas," said Fate, smiling at him as she adjusted Alicia who stopped nursing and looked up at him, big inquisitive blue eyes asking who this was. "Roxas, meet Alicia. Alicia, this is your godfather."

Alicia stared just a little like all babies, and began to giggle, waving tiny arms.

The instant the girl looked up at him, he felt that nervousness oddly fade away. While Fate's words had his ears, the rest of his attention was on the tiny little life waving her arms at him.

"H-hi there." The Nobody's words stammered out just a little nervously as he offered a finger for the tiny hands to grasp, "Nice to meet you, Alicia."

Alicia cooed and giggled, grasping his finger with a tiny fist. She giggled and Fate smiled at Roxas. "She likes you," said Fate softly, beaming up at Roxas. "She knows a good person when she sees one."

All Roxas was able to do really was to smile at those eyes staring back at him. Somehow, all at once he was almost overwhelmed by all the possibilities this girl had in store. Yet this was how it all started -this was how normal people began their life; not in some arbitrary location where another person would claim to bestow upon them purpose... but as a child like this.

"She's really something..." It's all he can managed to stammer out before his eyes drift to the other infant, "And this one's name?" Just about then, he happens to see the bassinet nearby... the occupied bassinet, "A-and their names? Wait a second. Weren't you just having twins?"

There was potential that he was going to need to go make some more gifts.

Fate smiled as she kept her voice down. "The sleeping green haired one is Aki. And the two identicals are Erika and Momoka. A little surprise happened during the late trimester so I had a wonderful birth."

She smiled as Alicia yawned and began to drift off, still holding onto Roxas' finger. "Oh they're all so precious~"

It'd been a struggle for him to keep his voice down as much as he had. This surprise was just entirely out of left field -or so the saying he'd learned went. But he nodded, making mental note of each name and the face that went with it.

His voice managed to crack a kind of quieted chuckle, "It looks like I'll need to make a couple more gifts."

"You being here is enough of a gift," whispered Fate, leaning up and pecking him on the lips. "Thank you for coming to see me and the girls."

He couldn't help but to flush a slight shade of crimson when complimented and kissed. It was almost odd to remember that feeling, the sensation of modesty -something that the aphrodisiacs in the hotel so often tended to strip away from his mind during his usual day to day. It was just nice... seeing all of them and Fate as himself; nothing extra added. Certainly not a bad way to make a first impression.

"Of course." Again, there was that effort to keep his voice down, "I mean, I'm their god father now, right? I need to help care for them too."

"That's right," said Fate, smiling at him as she went over to tuck the little Alicia in. "Being able to help care for them would be great."

Admittedly, it was one of those things easier said than done. He really didn't have the slightest clue on how to even help raise a child. Of course, it wasn't a task he would let himself slack on once he figured out what to do. Just for now, little steps.

"Anytime you need me." His quieted voice abruptly stops as he tries to clear his throat without making too much noise, "Just uhm... I'll need you to show me what to do. I've never really been around babies before."

"I'll teach you everything you need to know," said Fate, smiling at Roxas as she got up, adjusted her shirt and hugged him gently. "Thank you for being so kind all this time."

"Why wouldn't I?" His comment reflects an almost amused sense of surprise, "You're one of my best friends. And I learned that's what you do with friends like that -just always be there for them."

Fate smiled, hugging him a little tighter before releasing him. "Still, thank you so much for everything. My days have been so much more brighter with good friends."
