FS Levatein: A Banquet / Mingling Post / BYOA
It's hard to tell when or how this banquet invitation found its way into your pocket. It could have shown up on your bedside table or under your door one morning, or it could have simply been in your pocket all this time. Come to think of it, maybe you never got an invitation. Maybe you were brought here by someone who did get one or escorted by a helpful member of the hotel staff.
Whatever the case, you are now standing in he lobby of the massive airship hovering outside the hotel and there's a party all around you! Apparently, there is an opening banquet tonight. Hundreds of people were invited and many of them are now present on the scene, enjoying the sights or getting busy with whatever form of entertainment the place has provided for them.
Oh, and there is plenty of entertainment here! An entire floor is filled with slot machines and gambling tables where you can try your luck and win fabulous prizes! Some people, of course, have already spent the contents of their pockets and are now paying with their clothes and various personal favors. The dance floor is large enough to support several hundred couples and the band is already going all out. For those seeking a more quiet time, the cafe on one of the floors is offering comfortable chairs, a number of books and a presentable menu. Some of the partitions are closed, allowing the party-goers a little more privacy.
And, of course, the most exciting form of entertainment is people! Everyone is doing something, so maybe it's time to fetch a drink and go socialize! You might find a pleasant conversation, a dance partner or maybe even a companion for the night!
Keep in mind, though, that the hotel doesn't like people who won't have fun. Be a sore spot in the cloud fun and you just might get commandeered to help the party staff.
