Now, this was perfect. The majestic airship was probably one of the best things to have happened to Sasami in quite awhile. The breeze whipping at her from quite a high altitude was refreshing (though she seemed oblivious to the fact that, wearing a kimono, the wind was giving everyone a view of her shapely legs.) and the view was awe-inspiring. Standing in the doorway was a man clad in blue vestments and a bit of chainmail. He blinks a bit, then looks down at his ticket, and then back at the number on the door.

"...Um. I believe it's mine as well - at least, according to the ticket I got." He frowns at the thing. Surely this can't be right...

"Wha...? But...?" Sasami uttered, going for her own ticket and showing the man that it was the same thing. "Oh, don't tell me they goofed!"

"It would appear so," the man answered. This was rather awkward, but he could roll with the punches. He gives Sasami a warm smile, and raises a hand to go with his offer of compromise: "Well - I wouldn't want to impose, so you keep the room, miss. I'll see to finding myself somewhere else."

"Oh, no, that wouldn't be fair at all!" Sasami said. Granted, it was her room first, but she couldn't let the man suffer, especially after the goof. "I'm certain the room'll be big enough for the two of us, so we can share."

"Are you certain?" Because knowing his luck lately, and in general, there'd just be one bed. "While I appreciate the offer, I don't want to impose..." Besides, whatever place he found on this ship would be a big step up from his usual camping on a bedroll.

"No, no, I'm sure! Really!" Sasami said. "And if anything, I'll take the couch. Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I'm going to let my guest take the worse of it."

And that suggestion made him raise his hand in a stopping motion, and he shook his head. "As a dutiful cleric of Heironeous, I cannot allow a lady to be put out in such a manner. I shall take the couch, if need arises."

Good luck convincing him otherwise, Sasami. He's a stubborn one.

And so can she!

"No, I'm serious! I understand being courteous and all, but I'm not going to allow a guest to suffer at my expense!" Sasami said. Her flustered look turned to one of pleading. "Please?"

The cleric stammers for a moment, then slumps his shoulders in defeat. "Very well, since you're so insistent upon it."

Duty to the Lady is a difficult thing to manage when your own chivalry conflicts with what the lady wants...

Sasami smiles sympathetically at the dejected knight.

"Thank you. I'm sorry for being so hard, though. I could make it up to you..."

Once he steps inside, he pauses at the woman's words, raising an eyebrow. "Do not worry yourself over it," he answers. He's visibly curious about what she has in mind, but he does not verbally inquire.

Sasami chuckled as she walked close to him, a smile on her face. "You sure? I mean, I could just..." she said, trailing off as she leaned forward and gave him a small kiss.

Said kiss brought a red hue to his face and a flail that manifested itself as awkward hand motions that ended with him clutching the fabric of his shirt with one hand, and the scabbard of his sword with the other.

"...we haven't even introduced ourselves, Miss..."
