Slave Market/Slippery Gibbet | BYO Aphro
It's been a pretty rotten streak of luck, hasn't it?
Your normal, ordinary, everyday life was brought to a screeching halt when you were captured and sold to a slave market. The conditions were horrible and it was made abundantly clear that your fate was to be sold as a slave to the highest bidder. Purchased by a ship's captain, you were chained up in the hold for a week on the way to the auction, with all the free time in the world to contemplate your miserable fate.
Then there were the sounds of cannon fire, gunshots, screaming and death from up above, and your ship was attacked and captured by pirates.
Once the crew of the slaving ship were all dead, the pirates surveyed the place, stealing all the treasure and valuables they could find, and then they stumbled upon you. You were snatched and dragged upstairs, then across the gangway to the pirates' ship, where you're brought to the captain's cabin and thrown unceremoniously on the floor.
"Damn, are they rude," the captain commented as the door closed, leaving the two of you alone. "That's no way to treat a guest."
