Living a rugged, "outdoorsy" life in the heart of the forest was not Lyon's thing, but he didn't have much choice. With his race feared and hunted wherever they went it was just about the only option available to him. Thankfully he'd found an old abandoned hunting shack that hadn't taken much to make livable again, so things weren't as bad as they could have been. The shack was small but clean and offered protection from the elements, and until it was safe for him to meet up with his parents at the hidden Immortal Sanctuary it was home.
Relief that his parents were safe made it easier for Lyon to put up with his current situation, and tried to focus on that as he prowled around the forest looking for an unwary traveler to feed from. There was a local legend that said that the forest was inhabited by a ferocious, man-eating wolf, which meant that almost no one braved the path through the woods anymore. And while it helped keep Lyon from being discovered and possibly killed it also made it hard for him to find sustenance.
He was debating the wisdom of sneaking into town to feed when a rustle of clothing and a flash of red caught his eye. Lyon slipped into the foliage bordering the path a moment before a buxom young blonde appeared, a bright red cloak draped over her shoulders. The sight of her stirred more than just blood hunger, and Lyon felt himself stiffen as his fangs slid down from his gums. He decided that he would have to do more than just feed from this girl and he stepped out onto the path to block her way as she approached.
"Going somewhere beautiful?" Lyon's voice had a dangerous edge to it, and his fangs flashed as he spoke. The silver in his eyes was swirling as well, betraying his arousal as much as the budge in his pants. Whatever the blonde girl's reasons for entering the forest had been they were about to change, whether she wanted them to or not.
