Introduction - Event: Suburbia/Simple Kind Of Life
Karako tossed and turned in bed. It was hard to get comfortable being nine months pregnant. She used to lay on her stomach and sleep peacefully, but now with the baby in her belly, she couldn't. She was laying on her left side and then turned over onto her right. Finally she turned again and lay on her back. "Damn it." She murmured to herself, a bit frustrated with not being able to get a night's rest.
Her stomach grumbled. She was hungry again and didn't want to wake her lover that was asleep beside her, so she got out of bed quietly. She walked out of the bedroom, down the stairs, and into the kitchen. She grabbed a number of items from out of the refrigerator and sat down on the floor after grabbing a spoon from one of the drawers. There upon the floor she took a seat. A pint of vanilla ice cream, pickles, and potato salad. She started to dig into the ice cream with the spoon and took a bite. Then she grabbed a pickle and began to munch on that as well.
