old event omg || the wedding crasher || Room 5584

You know those days you knew you dreaded but you’ve come to realize you had absolutely no clue just how much you dreaded it until it was here? Yeah, that was happening to Sasuke right now. Most teenagers his age dreaded their exams, failing a final, or having videos of ‘last night’ uploaded onto their hacked account, becoming the next internet sensation and ending up on Tosh.

But no. Not even close because here he was, freshly eighteen and dreading his own wedding, all for the sake of strengthening their family’s nobility status. His parents were the ones who decided this for him. Well, namely his father, explaining that his brother was just far too astronomically important to be tied down with a family of his own right now, having enough responsibilities as it was. He even went on to say that it was time he pulled his weight around and contributed to their family. Be useful and mean something, like his brother, and being way too loyal to the Uchiha name and pride, Sasuke agreed to do this. To marry some stranger he’d never even spoken to.

He wasn’t all strung out to get his father’s approval like in his younger years, but he still felt obligated to do his part. Besides, if he blatantly refused, he’d probably be disowned, and Itachi would no doubt have the burden of fixing his failure. And his father was right. Itachi had more than enough on his plate right now. Knowing all this, he still dreaded this. A part of him was hoping for some kind of a miracle to stop the ceremony.

It was the perfect opportunity for Naruto to have one of his retarded moments that annoyed him so much. Just storm in, create a noisy ruckus and ruin everything. Or even Sakura. If she were to interrupt this and confess her love for him like she tried to when they were younger but he’d just blow her off and call her equally annoying as the loudmouth blonde. Both of those were unlikely, but that didn’t stop him from thinking about it at the most inappropriate time, “Young man,” The preacher addressed sternly, snapping him out of his mind’s musings, apparently awaiting his answer, as was the rest of the audience. Damn it, it looked like there was no choice.

[ooc: Ahoy! Complete Au Sauce here. I know this is an ancient option but I just saw it and thought it would be fun to do. Girls, guys, canonmates or not, ocs, you’re all welcome to join in! You could be a concerned friend, secret admirer, or actual lover. You pick and I’ll follow you up on it. Itachi’s are welcomed to jump in too!]

(Quick note: Hey guys! Just popping in to say that I probably won’t have time to reply until Monday, hopefully it’ll be sooner than that but I’m working with a crazy schedule here. Anyway just wanted to let everyone know so you know that I’m not ignoring or flaking out on ya’ so please forgive a slow tagger here. Thanks!)
