Nero shouldn't have been surprised that the pirate crew that he had lead betrayed him. As much as he had to reign in their actions as he got out of hand should have been a tip off. They all fought while at sea, but Nero managed to escape. He had planned to get his revenge, but he didn't realize just how big a pain in the ass it was going to be. His crew still acted as if he were the captain and committed despicable crimes in his name. Slaughter villages and attacking cities. It earned Nero a nice big wanted poster on plastered on the walls of various cities. One of those such cities was one that he was in now.
But he wasn't stupid enough to go into the city without a disguise. He wore a hooded cloak to cover his head and he concealed his devil bringer within the cloak upon a sling instead of letting it dangle outside of it like his human arm. He would have just left the town the same way he entered it, but the city guard was on high alert since someone said that they spotted him there. Now that the guards were searching for him, an escape from the city would just be that much more difficult.
"Fuck.." He muttered under his breath as he spotted some of the guards coming in his general direction. They hadn't spotted him yet, given how large the crowd he was in was. He could fight his way out if they spotted him, but that would be more trouble than it is worth. So instead of staying out there, he dipped inside of the nearest building, not really paying too much attention to what kind of building it was.
