It had been less than a week since he'd foiled the Rogue's attempt on Sophie's life and only a couple days since she'd returned from her impromptu visit to her Father. Lyon was not a terribly patient young man however, and he'd decided that he'd waited long enough. The arrangement he'd made with Sophie - where he'd surprise her at random intervals with a night of wild, passionate sex - was too enticing for him to put off for very long. So while Sophie was out he'd parked his motorcycle behind her house and slipped inside using the spare key she'd given him. He'd then packed an overnight bag for her, throwing in some basic toiletries and a change of clothes, as well as the book sitting on her nightstand that she was obviously in the middle of reading. Once that was done he set the bag by the back door and waited for Sophie to come home.
Lyon didn't have to wait very long. He'd deliberately timed things so that she'd get home not long after he arrived, and after about fifteen minutes of lounging on her couch his sharp eyes spotted her car coming down the street. Smiling to himself, Lyon rose from the couch and slipped out into the hallway, doing his best to blend in with the shadows cast by the moonlight filtering in through the windows. He waited for Sophie to make it all the way inside and lock the door behind her before making his presence known, deliberately shuffling his boots against the floor as he moved up to her.
"Hello Sophie," he said in a low voice, trying to sound mature and seductive. He was mostly successful, but there was an undercurrent of youthful exuberance that he just couldn't shed. "I hope you're ready for another getaway, because your first visit from me includes a little road trip."
