Introduction
Roland blinked himself awake, then sat bolt upright. The bed could almost have been his - the Master's lodgings at the Magic Association were rather upscale - but the place felt wrong. It lacked the magic presence that resulted from generations of Witches practicing their spells, the energy seeping into the build itself. Well, that and it wasn't anywhere near this gaudy. Sure, large segments were red in theme, but they had taste, and often gold (or recently, white) trim. Plus the art. He didn't want to think about that picture too much, but it definitely wouldn't have passed muster for display in a building used by teenagers.
Deeply suspicious, Roland got to his feet and summoned his Master armor. At least that worked, however, he couldn't sense anyone close enough to Engage with. Another thing to worry about as he opened the door and started exploring the corridor beyond.
"Hello?" He called as he walked along, alert to every noise... even if several of them were ones he recognized as certainly not belonging at the Academy. That sealed it - he wasn't home right now.
"Althea? Dia? Luna?" He couldn't be the only person not... busy in a room somewhere. First to find somebody.
