She always felt more comfortable where there was water. So it was no surprise that when Tifa Lockhart decided to do some exploring that she found a pool on one of the lower levels of the hotel. It was quite big -- and deserted. Looking around, she stripped off her clothes and dove into the water.
It wasn't like those times when she would go swimming with friends back in Nibelheim, as the water wasn't crisp and cool. But it had been a while since Tifa could take such a break from everything and just forget about what was to come. She found herself doing laps -- even in a leisure hotel, she would always find the time to train and exercise.
Languid breaststrokes to either end of the pool, submerged deep in the water and trying to see how long she could hold her breath without breaking the surface for air... these little things Tifa enjoyed so much. The feel of the cool water against her bare skin was rejuvinating...
