The Library | Possessiveness | Rising Aphro
It had been a long time since Vergil had found himself within the quiet, appealing atmosphere of a library, though this one was a far larger and less demonic then the one he'd been in last. Though, to the careful senses of the half-devil, one could certainly hear the quiet acts of demonic nature in the corners of such a room. Truly, if there was any doubt as to whether he was still in the hotel, those sounds dashed it. Though not his spirits, for lack of a better word. The library was large, enough to hide from people if he so chose to and stocked with more than enough to read, even if a great deal of it was truly indicative of the place that housed it. Much to his annoyance, of course.
Clad in his usual and moving about with an air of superiority, Vergil wondered from row to row, fingers trailing along books of telling nature, giving them passing glances. Knowledge was power, after all, and any power was something the white haired devil carried a great interest in.
And speaking of power...he felt the need to exert some. Only not in his preferred form. He could smell the differences in the air, it lacked it's usual qualities, but it left him with a newfound urge. Even as his eyes scanned the words in a particular tome, his mind wandered and found it's way back to the want he had found himself in. To put it simply, he wanted someone to be his and his alone. In body and in soul. Not simply infatuation, nor longing, this was distinct. Powerful. This was a will to have someone and keep them to himself. To enjoy, to treasure, to keep...
He snapped the book shut with particular strength, lips curling back in frustration as he tried to deviate his mind, but there was no such luck to be had. "Your games grow weak, Hotel." He muttered, nearly jabbing the book back onto the shelf. "As does my patience for them."
