Late night was the best time for ice cream. Especially huge helpings of it and nomming it down as you skated down the hallway. Of course, when Sasami just poked her head out Subaru had to slam on the breaks.

"W-waaaaah!"

Thankfully, being an awesome cyborg, at least she didn't lose any ice cream, and she was now standing right at Sasami's door, breathing a sigh of relief. "Whew! Sorry about that!"

Sasami couldn't help but panic as the girl was racing down the hall, eating ice cream and nearly running her over. Thankfully, that didn't come to pass.

"Ah, n-no, no. It's my fault. I... guess I should have watched where I was looking..."

"W-well to be fair I really was rushing down here really quickly," Subaru confessed. "I really should just try to eat all of this before I go on again. One near accident's enough, you know?"

"Then, why don't you just stay in here, then?" Sasami suggested, shrugging her shoulders. "Better than standing out here and eating all of that..."

"That'd be very nice of you," Subaru said as she slid into Sasami's room and nodded in appreciation at the girl. "Thanks. I'm Subaru, by the way."

"I'm Sasami. It's nice to meet you, Subaru..." she said, nodding as she let the other girl in. "Um, do you mind if I ask what this place is?"

"Uh..." Subaru suddenly hit a mental block and looked down at the ground. "Actually I don't exactly know either... But this place has really good ice cream though! Want some?"

She held up the bowl, there was more than enough for Sasami to have a sample.

"Ah, i-if it's okay with you... sure!" Sasami said. Realizing it would be rude to take Subaru's spoon, Sasami went off to get her own. Returning, she took a scoop and ate a bite.

"Mm...! Good!"

"Yeah, I know!" Subaru said as she took another bite, suddenly pausing for a moment. "O-oh..." There was a warmth growing inside of her after that last bite, and more and more she couldn't help but look at Sasami.

"Y-you're very pretty, you know that?"

Sasami blinked a bit, her cheeks blushing as she heard Subaru's compliment. At the same time, there was a warmth growing within herself as she recovered.

"Um... th-thank you." Sasami stammered. "So... so are you, Subaru." She couldn't help but smile warmly at her.

Subaru blushed even more at Sasami's own compliment, and then on a whim she spooned out some more ice cream and offered it to Sasami.

"Would you like some more, Sasami?"

Oh god, why was she feeling this way? She liked women, sure. She loved Teana with all her heart... but she'd only just met Sasami!

Sasami couldn't help but chuckle at what Subaru had done. And yet, it felt... odd. She just met Subaru and yet here she was, eating ice cream out of a spoon - Subaru's spoon - and admitting how pretty she was.

And yet, as she took a bite, it seemed... right?

"S-sasami..."

Dammit, she couldn't hold herself back anymore. Seeing Sasami take in that ice cream, even little bits of it still on her lips... Subaru couldn't control herself anymore. She leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on her lips.

"... You taste so well..."

A gasp left Sasami's lips as Suburu's met hers. Her blushing grew brighter as she had let it all sunk in.

She'd been kissed by a girl. A girl she just met.

And she liked it.

"...you... you think so? I..." Sasami stammered. She couldn't hold back, not after what Subaru had done. It felt so nice, so... comforting. She leaned forward, planting her own kiss on Subaru's lips.

"...heh... so do you..."

"I'm glad..."

Very carefully, Subaru set the ice cream off to the side and then moved to sit on Sasami's lips, beginning to kiss her more and more. "I don't know what I'd do right now if you didn't like how I taste..."

"...I would have apologized for hurting you..." Sasami said, returning those kisses. It was odd - just met mere minutes ago and yet, here she was, kissing.

She couldn't explain it and yet... she seemed so sweet.
