Krad sighed as he chewed on a carrot stick, partially dipped in whipped cream. He was grumbling at himself as he'd gotten pregnant again by another wolf, and staying in his room just wasn't helping matters. Seeing that he was hungry, he cautiously made his way to the kitchen without being spotted

"Well this is a fine mess you've gotten yourself into, Krad. Was the first batch not enough?" The lord of hell ask conversationally as he simply appeared leaning against the counter and stealing a carrot stick to munch on. His smirk was more than self satisfied, in fact it was down right demonic.

Krad twitched, he knew that voice. "You again..."

"Yes. Me again. Its good to knwo you haven't forgotten." Lucifer tilted his head a bit, acknowledging Krad in greeting, "I admit time is a difficult thing to track in this place so I apologize for my tardiness."

"Our contract is void, Lucifer. The time limit is up."

He sighed, "I suppose it is, but we signed no contract I simply made a verbal agreement with you. The original still stands unbroken. I had no set time limit on when I would come for what was mine."

He honestly had come more to harass Krad than take the pup.

"You know. You're wrong, but I've changed my mind. The deal is void. You do not have to pay out your end as I will return that which i took in exchange for payment."

Krad twitched again. "How?"

"how what, Krad?" He knew what the other was gettign at, btu he'd like to hear the words from him.

"Last thing I need right now is to get hurt, Lucifer." God did he hate this guy.

"I took the pain of childbirth from you. It is a rather unique feeling and only in rather unique circumstance would you feel such a pain again," he explained it vaguely as he could without being too vague. After all, Krad would never agree to having his next birth twice as painful as it should be.

Krad twitched again, oh he got it this time...

"I've the choice of making a contract with you again or give birth in massive pain...that right?"

"You could do that," he pulled a nicely typed paper form his pocket, "we could simply renegotiate the current contract for a more favorable outcome for us both."

Dark had been listening from outside and decided now was as good a time as any to step in. He quickly moved between Lucifer and Krad wings spread and magic swirling.

"I'd advise you step away from him." No one was going to touch his and Krads pups..even if they technically weren't his.

"Mousy..." He blinked...he wasn't expecting him out of nowhere.

"Its rude to interrupt business negotiations, child," Lucifer warned softly, "Especially those that you are not involved in."

He reached out and plucked a single feather form Dark's wing before nodding just a bit. "Though I thank you for the quill. You can run along now before you get hurt."

Dark didn't even flinch at that but he did send a sharp feather whizzing by Lucifer's face close enough to leave a cut.

"I'm here to make a business deal not interrupt it. Leave Krad out of it."
