Coming Home || Low Aphro
Her battle was over and her life had been spent finishing the Great Seal, but her time in the hotel had given her new breath and warmth. It had been trying, to say the least, but after seeing and doing everything she had, she learned to appreciate the time she had left, almost sure that when she left the hotel, she'd be silently locked away as the Seal once again. Of course she was sad whens he thought about it, but really, what more could she ask for? She'd been given another chance to live, even if it was a little limited.
What she wasn't expecting was to wake up in her own bed in the dorm she'd come to think of as her home. For a long moment, she lay sprawled on her back, eyes wide with shock as she stared up at the familiar ceiling. Breath catching, she bolted upright in the bed, her frantic gaze traveling over each thing in the achingly familiar room. Tears welled up in her eyes as she smiled at the sight. Scrubbing them away with a quick swipe of her hand, she climbed out of bed and padded over to the window.... only to find a brilliant, sunny morning.
Laughing under her breath, she stood in awe of the sight before she realized that she needed to get dressed and go. After all, she had no idea how long she'd be allowed to be there and she had the most to make of it all.
