One again, Jigen found himself wandering around one of the endless corridors of that hotel, hopelessly looking for an exit as he took short drags from his cigarette trying to calm down his nerves and his frustration.
He walked slowly, passing by some people here and there, but never really making eye-contact with anyone. He didn't want to have anything to do with the people in that hotel. He just wanted to fin a way out of that place, and fast.
Passing through all those countless people though, he came across a man. He didn't remember seeing him before, and he sure as hell would remember. When they were shoulder to shoulder, going to opposite directions, Jigen couldn't help but glare at him for a split second from behind the brim of his hat, his eyes narrowing.
The feeling he got from that man... He felt that before. It was a long time ago but it was the kind of feeling one doesn't forget. He wished he could forget but he didn't.
His whole body shuddered for a moment as he kept walking, not really wanting to stay around such a man for too long.
