Raven ducked inside, eyes roaming anxiously around her, and slammed the doors to the mall shut. They rang out with a cavernous echo. She'd been alternately running, flying, teleporting for hours now. And she hadn't seen her pursuer for a few minutes now. Maybe she'd escaped. Maybe she could get through the rest of her birthday without any problems.
But probably not, because her father's agent had come to find her today, and Trigon was not likely to be denied. She was fated to do this. There was nothing to be done about it. It was the only truth she knew.
Passing a furniture store, she was briefly tempted to hide under a bed, it was an old instinct. Or maybe not. It wasn't her style, anyway. Too commercial, too jarring. Better find somewhere dark to hide. There was a bookstore in the corner, that was more her speed, though it looked dark, dusty and creepy. Also her speed, but it wasn't the most reassuring thing she could think of right now. Finally, she spotted a gothy store of some kind, filled with nasty-looking whips, chains, dark clothing. Strange stuff for a mall. Not reassuring either, but it might be the last place her pursuer might look. Who would hide in a threatening place like that?
She heard a booming noise, coming from the doors she'd fled through a while ago, and realized she might have waited too long. Or-- maybe it was a friend? How had she gotten here, anyway? It was so hard to remember...
((OOC: This situation is modeled on an episode from her canon if you know it. Take her into one of the stores or another one of your devising. Most comers welcome, most stuff accepted, feel free to just enter if you're not sure.
Oh, and backtagging and entering at any distance is welcomed. I would be fine with you coming in RIGHT NOW. Up to, let's say, a month later.
3/25 here))
