Where she was, Juuri hadn't a clue. The pureblood had awoken, a shock in itself for one who was so prepared to face darkness, and found herself in what appeared to be a sitting room of some sort. Further peeping about told her it was a lobby of some kind, branching into hallway upon hallway of doors and into a bigger area where she could smell ( Read more... )

Rido had woken in the room hours ago but hadn't felt like seeking answers, figuring someone would come to him eventually. The furnishings had amused him and he lifted his head at the sound of a knock before he shifted in his seat. When the door opened, his eyes widened for a moment, fastening on the slender figure illuminated by the light of the hallway like a starving man on a table full of food.

He stood slowly, the sound of the door locking loud in his ears before he moved to cross the room, almost silently, one arm sliding around Juuri's waist to draw her back against his body. His other hand brushed her hair aside, mouth settling against the side of her neck with the barest scrape of fangs. "...This is such a pleasant surprise, Juuri, almost as if this place decided to provide me with the one thing I've always wanted. And no Haruka here to interfere."

She'd been close to trying the knob again before the arm slid around her waist. That was the last bit of warning she had before she was drug backwards, back pressed flush against the warmth of another body. Her heart lurched; how could she be caught so off guard? Humans had as much of a scent as anyone else, she ought to have picked them out. There was something about this place, something about the air... she didn't like it in the least.

There was a moment of struggle as fangs barely scrape against the exposed curve of her neck, the scrape rousing an uncomfortable feeling within. And then he spoke. He even had the audacity to speak of Haruka.
Juuri grew pale. How? Hadn't... hadn't Haruka...

She swallowed roughly then. "Where is he."

"Not here, obviously." His hand crept up over the bodice of her gown, stilling when his palm was pressed over one of her breasts. "Which means, of course, that you're at my mercy, Juuri." The words were soft against her skin, his tongue flicking against the skin as he spoke. "So why don't you stop struggling and just enjoy the experience, I know I will."

That definitely roused a flush in her cheeks. They may have shared blood before but Juuri had never shared anything else with her elder brother. After what happened with Kaname, what he threatened to do with Yuuki, after what she knew he had to have done to Haruka...

"I can fight you just as well." She wasn't as strong as Haruka perhaps but she could hold her own.
His hand though... she was surprised to find herself biting her lower lip to stifle the moan that threatened as he murmured against her skin, drawing his tongue over her pulse. Why? Of all times, of all people... it was Rido.

Even reminding herself of that though wasn't helping much.

"You can try, but I don't think you'll have much luck focusing on that in a place like this, Juuri. Can't you tell there's something in the air?" Rido's hand dropped from her hair, fingers toying with the zipper of her gown. "I finally get you alone and you only ever think about him. You should have been mine, Juuri."

His fingers gently brushed over the skin of her back, mouth sliding down to press lips and fangs against her shoulder.

"Of course but..."
She couldn't precisely smell it but there was something. Goosebumps raised as his fingers toyed with the zipper of her gown, though not from fear. It was almost like years before, before what happened with Kaname, when it was he and Haruka both trying to win her favor.
When she didn't fear Rido. She had never loved him in quite the same way she did Haruka but she had cared for him a great deal.

It was a comfortable emotion. As much as it may be deluding herself, as bad as it was to do this to Haruka and to her children as well... for a moment, she felt she could put the fighting behind her.
For a moment, maybe she could feel as she once had for him. Whatever was floating in the air was damn determined she feel something anyhow and she reasoned with herself, likely just to make herself feel better, that feeling old emotions might not be such a bad thing for just a little while ( ... )

Rido's teeth just scraped over the skin of her shoulder, fingers tugging the gown down, baring more of her skin to his eyes. He'd always wanted her like this, to the point it had consumed him entirely. She'd always seen Haruka first, though and that more than anything had galled him.

The fabric of her gown ripped a moment later, the fabric falling to pool around her feet. "Who said anything about changing the past, Juuri? As long as you're here, you belong to me." His hands were rough as they moved over her skin, one thumb stroking over one of her nipples.

If it were another situation and anyone else, she would instantly huff over the torn gown. It had been one of her favorites, after all ( ... )

Rido stilled at her words, his eyes showing a faint hint of surprise as she turned to face him, her hands sliding over the buttons of his shirt. He'd expected more of a fight out of her to be completely honest, but this would make things so much easier.

"Juuri..." The name slid from his lips, voice husky as he let his eyes move over her body before returning to her face. Fingers curled in her hair, pressing her mouth against his chest.

It should have been more of a fight, much more of one. It should have been nigh impossible to get her to willing to do this. He had done so much to hurt her family...

And as his fingers tangled in her hair, she felt a shiver steal over her. The part of her that wanted to fight him had given way to the heat and this longing. It wasn't love, not really. The echoes of her old feelings for him were there, a time when she didn't hate him.

When she finished the last button, the woman let her own fangs scrape lightly against his chest as her hand slipped under his shirt and against his side. She directed her eyes upward then, looking through dark bangs.

Rido had been more than a little surprised to find her reactions more willing than he'd expected, although he planned on taking full advantage of the situation. When her fangs scraped over his skin, his eyes half closed, expression softening a little before he lowered his head to her throat again, his mouth settling where her pulse beat against the scrape of his fangs.

Her blood and body were his for the taking even if it was just due to their current environment. His hands slid from her hair to trace over her back before pulling her more firmly against his own body. "This is where you've always belonged, Juuri..."

He was so adamant about making sure she knew that. There came a soft huff of breath with his words. She may have been eager for this now but it was still Juuri, still stubborn to the last.

"Not always."

His eyes narrowed at the rejection, expression hardening for a moment before he jerked her towards the bed, shoving her down on it. "You'll learn your place soon enough, sister. Don't think I'll let you go back to him after this." His hands pinned hers to the bed, body pressing hers down into the softness of the bed.

There was no real time to react between the push toward the bed and his own hands pinning her down. The bed was amazingly plush and welcoming though and she found the press of his body both intimidating and oddly arousing. Vampires were creatures capable of great love and yet in base instincts, they could at times be more like monsters, couldn't they.

Her own expression hardened as she gazed up at him and, for a moment, she wanted to question him on just how he expected her to go back to him. For all she knew, this was some sort of odd private afterlife. If Haruka wasn't here, how could she ever hope to return to him?

After a moment of that hard stare, the woman's expression softened. "Let go of my hands, Rido. You should know by now that I'm not going to run."

Rido's grip on her wrists tightened for a moment as he lowered his head to her neck, all pretense of being gentle with her gone. His fangs pierced her throat, one hand moving to her breast, and the other sliding down to grip her hip hard enough to bruise, holding her in place under him.

There was a quick noise as his fangs pierced, heart leaping up into her throat. Purebloods typically didn't care to share with anyone but the one's they truly loved. Emotions unfolded in their blood, thoughts and desires laid bare. The drawback was that it was only that blood that would ever truly satisfy their thirst.

Combined with the aphrodisiacs, it was also an arousing act. Juuri couldn't help but react accordingly, a hitched moan rising as a rough hand moved to one of her breasts. Her hands, now set free, rose to brush through Rido's hair.
